![]() ![]() Once the data is reported up to SCCM, there is zero impact to the client in running reports. Software inventory can run on whatever interval you choose. ![]() Please note that we don't have Wireshark in our SCCM library Thanks for reading, and any advise on how to do this would be appreciated. I would just be happier knowing from a security point, that no users (unless they have a need for it) should have such programs installed on their machines. I removed the program when I saw it, and knowing the user pretty well, was confident that he really wouldn't have known what the program was for. ![]() Standard users are unable to install programs themselves, and only IT are able to do this for the user by adding their Admin creds whenever a user requires something being installed for them (unless it's pushed out via SCCM) Either way, it shouldn't have been given to the user with WS installed. It could be that he was either given another laptop to use, when his original had issues, and the loaner one wasn't wiped/re-built correctly when it was given to the user. Now the user had no idea this had been installed, nor what Wireshark was. The reason that I would like to have a way to do this, is that I was remoting in to a users machine (I work on the Help Desk) a while ago and noticed that they had the program installed on their machine. I am looking to create a script that I can run to check every machine connected to our domain that has Wireshark installed.
